I am currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Centre for Data Science and Artificial Intelligence & School of Engineering and Computer Science, Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand.

Research Interests

My research focuses on the intersection of Evolutionary Computation and Deep Learning, with particular interests in:

  • Neural Architecture Search (NAS): Evolutionary NAS, Compact & Resource-Efficient NAS, Multi-Objective NAS, One-Shot NAS, Zero-Shot NAS.
  • Evolutionary Computation & Swarm Intelligence: Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO), Genetic Algorithms (GA), Genetic Programming.
  • Computer Vision & Machine Learning: Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs), Graph Neural Networks (GNNs), Deep Model Compression, Image Analysis.
  • Real-World Applications: River Flow Forecasting, Apple Orchard Surrogate Modeling.
